Rani Pediatrics has created a Newborn Nursery for Well-Care Visits and privacy while breastfeeding.
Because of their vulnerabilities, newborns are moved to the Newborn Nursery or to an exam room as quickly as possible.
Insurance for newborns can be a daunting task for new parents to deal with. Each insurance company has its own rules for how and when a newborn is put on the parents’ policy. We encourage parents to seek our help on the rules for their specific insurance plan. New parents are often so sleep deprived, so we want to help take care of those who take care of the new baby.
Scheduling Your Visit With a Newborn
Newborn appointment scheduling has specific guidelines at Rani Pediatrics. If you have very specific time needs, be sure to book appointments well in advance. Because of the extra time needed for a newborn, we want to make sure that these appointments are spread out throughout the day. Our staff meets regularly with Dr. Rani to discuss the needs of newborns, from the time they enter our building until they are safe in their car seat.
